Final Steps for Preparing for Commencement
- Regalia is required to participate in every ceremony. Contact the NJIT Bookstore for details.
- Stage Pass: Graduates must print and use as the access pass for their commencement ceremony.
- Manage Guest Tickets: Print and distribute guest tickets. Request additional tickets here. Additional tickets are not guaranteed.
Commencement News
- IMPORTANT TRAVEL ADVISORY: We anticipate heavier-than-normal traffic in and around the NJIT Campus and Prudential Center. Plan to allow ample time for traffic, parking, and security screening at the venue. Bringing prohibited items and/or arriving without a printed guest ticket will cause significant delays in entering the facility.
- Each attendee of our NJIT Commencement ceremonies should familiarize themselves with our Expressive Activity Policy found here. We will be adhering to this policy throughout all aspects of our Commencement ceremonies and expect all those participating to do the same.
Alumni Association
As a graduate, you join the ranks of a proud alumni community over 78,000 strong which has the power to influence legislation, recruit deserving students, attract critical resources to the university, and open doors for other alumni. Please visit the Alumni Relations Office website for the most current information. Keep an eye out for all the activities associated with the Young Alumni Association, which consists of all alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years.

Any Commencement information that needs to be mailed to you will be sent via email or to your address of record. This may include your diploma. If you have had or anticipate a change in address, please notify the university by updating your address through Highlander Pipeline. It is very important that you keep this address current at all times to ensure you are receiving the necessary correspondence.
